Connie Thorpe's Gallery
Connie began painting in watercolors shortly after her retirement in 2002 from a local firm in Annapolis Maryland. Now living in North Fort Myers, Florida she enthusiastically devotes a considerable portion of her time to painting in watercolors.
Connie recreates fondly remembered scenes based on her former and current residences, which began in Michigan, moved through New England, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland and now centers on Southwest Florida. Her paintings incorporate the use of vivid colors, which brings uniqueness to her paintings and reveals her strong affection for Michigan, New England, Maryland, and Southwest Florida.
Connie is an active member of the Heron’s Glen Artist’s Association and exhibits her paintings locally.
